Hi! We’re Chris & Alicia, the founders of Knotty Kitty Yarn Co.

Knotty Kitty was created from Alicia's love of creativity, cozy hobbies, beautiful yarn… and of course, our cat Percy. Chris brings his experience as the tech and marketing guru to the team, and he fully supports his wife's knitting addiction. :)

If you’ve seen the photo on this page, yes - that’s Percy proudly posing beside his latest “kill”, which he generously brought to us as an offering. As you can probably tell, he takes his household responsibilities very seriously.

Percy’s playful personality became the inspiration behind the name Knotty Kitty, and our daughter even drew the logo that helped bring the whole idea to life. From the very beginning, we wanted this brand to feel personal, warm, creative, and family-oriented, because that’s exactly what it is.

We’re a small Canadian husband-and-wife team who believe yarn shopping should feel inspiring, exciting, and welcoming. Whether you knit, crochet, collect yarn for “future projects,” or somehow always start a new project before finishing the last one… you’re among friends here.
